good news: i got a photography job doing a wedding...im nervous, and worried about the lighting...

hawley and i just went to kroger and i decided that we should ride the handi-carts around, cause it was midnight and i always see over-weight people riding around on them...so we were cruising the store, got to the cookie dough, were looking at the varieties when we were approached by an employee who pretty much told that we had to take them back to the front...

he said: since were not handicap we shouldnt be on the carts in case handicap people came in and needed a cart...

i said: there was still another cart in the front and its midnight...im quite sure there wont be two handicap people come in from 12:03-12:08 who need carts...

i thought: if i were a hundred pounds heavier he wouldnt have said anything, i see over weight people riding those things ALL THE TIME...actually most of the time i see people riding them, its for that reason and not cause they are disabled...

so really, because someone is lazy (for the most part) they dont have to walk through the store they can sit riding the cart, while i, who just worked 7 hours running around, must walk through the store or "get in trouble" when i decide i'd like to take 5 minutes to sit down while i go get my cookies...

hawley and i went to rockport for eamon and maes wedding...i took some photographs that i kinda like...

we also stopped in austin to spend some time with hawleys family...her nephews were in town and the youngest is potty training, so he ran around naked most of the time...it was pretty funny...oh, and he said "jasper (the dog) said, "ruff...im crazy"...i laughed for about 20 minutes...it was hilarious...oh, and the oldest one KILLED it on my longboard...

i like this picture...i was trying to get hawley and the oldest nephew to get together for a picture with the longboards and the youngest nephew was just cruising around all naked...

...you know the drill, which ones you like which ones you dont, and why...

i just filled out an application at texas land & cattle, talked to the general manager for approximately ten minutes and got the job...he said put in my two weeks at fridays and come see him a couple days before my last shift and he'll schedule my training...

my only concern is the constant country music playing the the restaurant, but at least i wont have to listen to the "ruby ruby ruby" song anymore...

im putting my two weeks in tonight (then leaving for 5 days, then only 9 more days at fridays)...im way stoked about making more money, having better guests, and not working till 1 every night...

i hope management doesnt get all bitter and give me carp sections for my last week...training is 7 days long, at what i assume will be minimum wage, so money will be tight for a couple weeks...

pray for me, and ill pray for you...

two: sorry tgi fridays, but im looking for a new job tomorrow

three: tomorrow is my last shift before hawley and i drive through the night to austin, then to rockport

four: ill be needing some late night corpus skating friday night, which of course means ill get a FRESH peach green tea from the circle k downtown

five: never have firestone work on your car...and if you ever even consider it, call and listen to my experience (i would explain now, but it would take far too long)

six: i have the worlds best pop-ices

theres a story behind the next few pictures...so i cleaned my room, and in doing so, i places this stuffed elephant hawley gave me on my tv...i went to sleep with it on the tv, didnt get up at any point to use the bathroom or for ay other reason during the night, remember turning the tv off with the remote...when i woke up, the elephant was on the floor in the middle of my room, a good 4-5 feet from the tv, facing the opposite direction...

its a fairly heavy stuffed animal (it is an elephant), so its VERY unlikely that the ac (which doesnt aim directly at the tv) blew it over...the elephant was pretty securely set on the tv, so its VERY unlikely that it just randomly fell...hawley thinks it may be a demon trying to scare me, but i think its funny, and even a little cute...maybe its my grandma reminding me that shes in a better place and that she loves me...any ideas?

im leaving it in the middle of my floor till i figure out what happened, or until whatever moved it moves it back...if something wants to play games, ill play some freakin games...

i got a new camera...its awesome...im going to be taking alot more photos...im going to ty to take photos often...ill most likely post more than you will ever care to see...this shall mark the beginning of this process...

i went to dinner with my family (mom, brother, sister, and soon to be newphew) at my favorite pizza place...

my last final is in three and a half hours...i may not be online for a while afterwards...not that it matters anyway...

i had a horrible day yesterday...

there are alot of people who keep me entertained for a little while, but only one person who keeps me entertained constantly...ill see her in four days...not soon enough...

im going to church thursday...i miss church people...

trip to rockport was okay...good to be there for wes...should have gone longboarding with adrian, nick, and that one girl...i probally would have if i knew things were going to happen as they did...i wish i could have eaten with sjon or something...been missing him lately, but didnt have the time or transportation to make that happen...

im not as smart as i once thought...just clever...and im more lazy than i could ever picture myself...

not in a great mood as of about 1:00 yesterday...maybe ill have a good night at work tonight...

just saw an advertisement for a patch you wear that makes you lose weight...seriously...stop eating junk and walk some...not that im one to talk...

not having internet access at home may actually be a good thing...without the possibility of getting caught up in meaningless surfing, i may spend time building relationships with people...i say we should all cancel our internet and television services...watch broadcast tv and do your online updates at your local library...you will be better for it...i promise...spending mass amounts of time alone is unhealthy, let alone unproductive...
